The Judds. The Jacksons. The Osmonds. The Carpenters. Get ready to add the Jaffas to that list. In the tradition of famous music families, this Mesa family is making its mark in the industry.
Joanne Jaffa, her three daughters, Christine, Leiticia Amber, Krystle, and husband, Bill Jaffa, make up the band CJA (pronounced see-jay). The group is almost impossible to
pigeonhole, playing a form of European pop music that is alchemically and
magically fused with classical elements from the likes of Bach and Scarlatti, Celtic folk songs, traditional Irish fiddling, spiritual
influences, disco, Bond, Sarah Brightman opera, Vanessa Mae and techno-industrial elements. The members of CJA, who have been dubbed "Arizona's answer to The Corrs," have
played at clubs, fairs, festivals and sporting events, released albums, gone
on tour and are selling their music online.
